Evening Gowns, October 2006
The following pictures are from the first fashion show I took part in. It is a collection of 5 evening gowns, which were inspired by the materials used, and how they behaved when folded and wrapped in different ways.

It's incredibly satisfying to see a client in their new outfit, all excited and full of self confidence. This is the motivation that drives me to do what I do, and I enjoy it!
I have a degree in clothing and design from a School of Arts in Finland. I have always been interested in creating things with my hands, and therefore decided to study fashion.
Now-a-days I make outfits as kind of a part time job from my home. Most of my projects are wedding dresses, but I also take part in fashion shows for which I design my own collections. Pictures of those shows, as well as of my other projects, will be posted to this site as and when they come along.
With each project, I can either make a dress according to the client's specification, or design something based on the personal likes or dislikes of the client. A project will normally take between 2 and 6 months to complete, although in some cases shorter time limits are also possible.
I charge a very competitive fee, which however does not include the materials. I expect the client to buy their own fabrics, but am very happy to help them and give ideas of suitable fabrics or colours. Should the client have their own design that they want to get made, I require a picture of the outfit from the front and back.
Each project requires a minimum of 3-4 fittings, depending on the design. These take place at my home in East London. I always work as hard and long as is necessary so that my client is completely happy with the outfit.
